🔍 Discovery & Label Search
5 questionsHead to the Creators page and use the search bar at the top. By default it searches across all creators and labels simultaneously. Click the Labels filter tab to narrow results to label and collective profiles only. Each label card shows the artist count, a short bio, and a direct link to the label's full roster page.
Clicking a label badge on a creator card automatically filters the Creators page to show only artists on that label's roster — including a label card at the top of the grid. A banner confirms which label you're viewing, and a one-click Clear button restores the full listing.
Yes. Visit a label's dedicated page (e.g. /label/label-slug) to see their full roster, featured artists, top releases, and label bio — with custom accent colours and section layouts configured by the label admin. You can reach it via the "Label page →" link on any label card, or by clicking a label badge and then opening the label card.
Labels appear before individual creators in combined search results, since they represent an entire catalogue rather than a single artist. Within each group, results are sorted by name relevance to your query. You can use the filter tabs (All, Music, Digital Art, E-books, Audiobooks, Labels) to restrict the result type before searching.
Discovery Radio is a genre-based streaming experience that plays approved audio products across all creators. To explore a specific label's audio catalogue, use the Creators page label filter — click any label card to reach its roster page, which lists all products published by that label's artists.
🏢 For Labels, Collectives & Artists
7 questionsWhen a product sold by a label-affiliated artist completes checkout, the platform retains 10% as a service fee and routes the remaining 90% directly to the label's Stripe Connect account. Stripe's separate standard payment-processing fee (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) is the label's responsibility, is deducted from that 90%, and is paid to Stripe — not Resonant Mind Media. The label admin is then responsible for distributing earnings to roster artists according to their own internal agreements — Resonant Mind Media does not manage intra-label splits.
Dual-Access Control is the permission model that separates label-level and artist-level authority. A Label Admin controls the label's Stripe account, roster membership, and page customization — but cannot edit an individual artist's bio or prices. Each roster artist (Label Artist) retains full control over their own bio, uploads, and pricing — but cannot access label financials or admin settings. Neither role can override the other's core domain.
From your Dashboard, open the Label section and click "Invite an artist." This generates a single-use invite link (valid for 7 days) that you share out-of-band — via email, DM, or any channel you prefer. When the artist clicks the link and accepts, their account is attached to your roster as a LABEL_ARTIST. Invite links are single-use and expire automatically.
Yes — label admins can create a managed roster profile for an artist. Their uploads and public profile go live immediately under the label's umbrella. When the artist is ready to take ownership, they accept an invite link to claim the profile — all products and profile data transfer to their new account automatically.
LABEL_ADMIN — the person running the label. Full CRUD over roster membership, label page content and accent colours, Stripe payout settings, and managed artist profiles.
LABEL_ARTIST — a roster member. Can edit their own bio, upload products, set their own prices, and manage their own Stripe (if independent) or receive payouts via the label's account. Cannot access label financials, remove roster members, or change label-page settings.
No — when an artist is part of a label, their product sales route to the label's Stripe Connect account. The artist does not need to set up individual Stripe onboarding. If an artist later leaves the label and switches to INDEPENDENT status, they'll be prompted to connect their own Stripe account to continue selling.
To ensure you receive a successful payout for every sale, our payment processor requires a minimum transfer amount of $0.50.
When you list an item, the sale price must be high enough to cover this $0.50 minimum along with standard payment processing and platform fees. Here is exactly how the math breaks down on a minimum-priced item:
Sale Price: $0.92
Platform Fee (10%): -$0.09
Payment Processing Fee (2.9% + $0.30): -$0.33
Your Net Payout: $0.50
Setting the minimum listing price at $0.92 guarantees that your earnings clear the required threshold and transfer to your account successfully every time.
🤖 Smart Upload & AI Metadata
7 questionsSmart Upload is an AI-powered pipeline that automatically analyses your file after you upload it. Depending on your media type it extracts structured metadata — BPM, musical key, and mood summary for audio; art style and dominant colour palette for images; literary genre, reading level, and author tone for books and PDFs. The results are embedded into the file itself and shown to you in a review screen where you can edit or skip before the listing goes live.
Smart Upload uses Google Gemini (gemini-2.0-flash) — the same model family used for content moderation on the platform. Audio and PDF files are uploaded to the Gemini Files API for deep native analysis. Images are processed inline via base64 to avoid a round-trip upload. All file data is deleted from Gemini's servers immediately after analysis completes.
Each creator account includes 20 GB of cumulative product-file storage at no extra cost. Per-upload size limits are: Audio (tracks, stems, sample packs) — 500 MB; Digital Art — 500 MB; E-books & Documents — 500 MB; Audiobooks (full-length narrated recordings) — 1.5 GB. Cover art, avatar, and banner images do not count toward your quota. ZIP and RAR archives cannot be uploaded — use the Album or Bundle feature in your Dashboard to package multiple files together instead. Your current usage is shown in the Storage Usage section of your creator dashboard.
Typically 15–45 seconds depending on file size and current server load. You'll see an animated "AI is analysing your upload" screen with a live step-by-step progress list while it runs. There's always a "Skip and continue" button if you'd prefer to move on without waiting — your product is already live in the marketplace from the moment it's uploaded.
Yes — once processing completes, a review screen appears showing all extracted fields in editable text inputs. Correct any value you disagree with, then click "Save & Continue" to write the reviewed data to your listing. Clicking "Skip" dismisses the screen without saving any AI metadata — your original upload is preserved exactly as-is.
Audio (MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG) — BPM, musical key, AI genre label, and 2–3 sentence mood summary.
Digital Art (JPEG, PNG, WebP) — art style classification, comma-separated dominant colour palette, and subject description.
Books/Documents (PDF) — literary genre, author tone (e.g. conversational, academic), reading level (e.g. College), and a back-cover-style summary.
Smart Upload only writes metadata tags — it never alters the actual audio, image, or text content of your file. If the embedding step fails for any reason (e.g. a corrupted EXIF segment), the pipeline gracefully falls back to the original unmodified file. The embedding step is always non-destructive.
🎨 Creator Tools
3 questionsNavigate to your Creator Settings and look for the "Brand Assets" section. Upload a transparent PNG or SVG of your logo. The next time you upload a track or album, simply check the "Include My Stored Logo" box in the Cover Art Studio. You can choose from six different placement positions, and we’ll perfectly overlay it onto your artwork.
Yes! Toggle on the Cover Art Studio during the upload process. You can instantly overlay your Track Title and Artist Name, customize the font family, and adjust the placement over your background image. You’ll see a live preview before finalizing your release.
For your background cover art, high-resolution JPEGs or PNGs (minimum 1400x1400 pixels) work best. For your stored profile logo, you must use a transparent PNG or SVG to ensure it overlays cleanly without a white box around it.
🎧 File Downloads & Media Player Tags
6 questionsSmart Upload embeds ID3v2 tags into your file before it's stored in our CDN. When you or a buyer downloads the file, those tags travel with it — so music players like Apple Music, VLC, Foobar2000, and Plex can display the correct title, artist name, BPM, genre, and cover art automatically without any manual tagging.
ID3v2.3 via the node-id3 library. This is the most widely compatible standard for MP3 files across all major desktop and mobile players. Tags written include: TIT2 (title), TPE1 (artist), TBPM (BPM), TCON (genre), APIC (cover art), and COMM (AI summary as a comment frame).
Using the pdf-lib library, Smart Upload writes the following PDF document properties: Title (product title), Author (creator's display name), Subject (AI-generated summary), and Keywords (genre, tone, and reading level as a comma-separated list). These are readable in Adobe Acrobat, macOS Preview, and most PDF readers.
Using piexifjs, Smart Upload writes into the EXIF header: ImageDescription (art style · colour palette · AI description combined), and XPComment (same data, for Windows-compatible readers). These fields are readable in macOS Preview, Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, and most digital asset management tools.
Minimally. ID3 tags for a typical product (title, artist, BPM, genre, comment) add less than 1 KB. Embedding a cover art thumbnail adds roughly the size of the JPEG thumbnail used — usually 30–150 KB depending on the image resolution. PDF metadata is negligible (under 1 KB). EXIF data adds under 2 KB to a JPEG file.
Yes — Smart Upload is opt-in via the review screen after upload. If you clicked "Skip," your file is stored and delivered exactly as you uploaded it, with no tags added. You can also re-upload the file at any time from your Dashboard to trigger Smart Upload again.
🎁 Interactive Buyer Tools
2 questionsYes! Our interactive Wallpaper Studio lets you perfectly crop high-res art for your specific device (iPhone, Galaxy, iPad, Mac, etc.) before downloading. Open your Library, find any purchased Digital Art, and click Download to launch the studio — pick a device preset, adjust the crop window, and export a pixel-perfect wallpaper at full resolution.
Absolutely. The Ringtone Creator lets you visually select a custom 30-second snippet of a track and formats it directly for your Apple or Android device. From your Library, click Download on any purchased track and choose "Create Custom Ringtone" — drag the selection window on the interactive waveform, pick Apple (.m4r) or Android (.mp3), and download instantly.
📱 Mobile & Platform Settings
6 questionsOn screens narrower than 768 px, the full inline navigation row is replaced by a hamburger menu (☰) to prevent horizontal overflow and scrolling. Tapping it opens a slide-out drawer from the right, listing all navigation links with large touch targets (minimum 48 px tap area). The drawer closes automatically when you tap any link or the backdrop.
The cart icon is permanently visible in the mobile header, right next to the hamburger button — so you can reach it with one tap without opening the drawer at all. The badge shows your current item count and updates in real time as you add products.
Yes — the Discovery Radio page, product cards, and the full Stripe checkout flow are all fully responsive. The 30-second preview gate (you can preview each track once before it's locked to cart) and one-tap Stripe checkout work identically on mobile browsers. The persistent audio player at the bottom of the screen stays accessible while you browse.
Not yet — Resonant Mind Media is available through your mobile browser. For quicker access, use your browser's "Add to Home Screen" or "Add shortcut" option. This creates a convenient browser shortcut without requiring an App Store or Google Play installation.
Open the hamburger menu (☰) and tap "Switch to Artist mode" or "Switch to Buyer mode" — it's listed near the bottom of the drawer, clearly labelled with your current role. The switch is instant and reflected across the full session.
Yes — file sizes are displayed on product cards in the Dashboard on all screen sizes. If you're managing a large catalogue on a small screen, use the storage breakdown section in your Dashboard to sort products by file size and quickly identify your largest uploads.
